One Time For The Kids originated in 2013 when three best friends, Nick DiNello, Tim Strasik, and Dom Pasquale thought that it was a problem seeing distant friends only once a year during Christmas break. They collaborated and sought out a solution. Their solution was to host a Christmas Party with all of their friends at a hall, and even more, donate all the proceeds to a local charity! 

Their first year, they had a small hall and had about 30 people attend. As they hand-wrote and sold tickets to their friends and family, the name was founded…

“One Time For The Kids”

By the third year, Nick, Tim, and Dom surpassed their expectations and hosted 150 people at a Christmas Benefit that replicated a wedding reception. Full bar, buffet, and entertainment. 

Throughout their time hosting these monumental events, they’ve chosen local charities like The Youngstown Boys and Girls Club, The Rich Center for Autism, Northeast Ohio Adoption Services, Hope Foundation of Mahoning Valley, and Camp Frederick. 

In 2018, the One Time For The Kids team had their breakout year, hosting over 300 guests to help raise money for local children. This was the year the organization realized their true potential and an opportunity for growth.

Each year they try to make it bigger and better and challenge themselves to push the limits. One thing is always consistent year in and year out…full buffet, full bar, entertainment, and a great time…One Time For The Kids.
