Youngstown, OH (pictured left to right): Nick DiNello, Dom Pasquale and Tim Strasik are 2009 graduates of Boardman High School. The three of them have been friends for over 25 years, stemming from their early days at Robinwood Lane Elementary School. The three of them decided to turn a holiday party into a benefit fundraiser that eventually led them to the founding of “One Time For The Kids”; a non-profit 501-3c organization in the state of Ohio.

Nick DiNello attended Youngstown State University where he played baseball for the Penguins earning All Horizon League Team Honors. He graduated with an Early Childhood Education degree and went on to teach 2nd Grade at Warren McGuffey Elementary School. He made a transition in 2016, and is currently a sales manager at Stryker Orthopedics. Nick loves working with orthopedic surgeons around our area specializing in orthopedic trauma and joint reconstruction. Nick resides in Poland, Ohio with his wife, Martina, and two German Shepherds, Mogley and Luna.

Dom Pasquale currently resides in Boardman, Ohio with his two dogs Miley and Ernie. After graduating high school, Dom went on to study at Columbus State University and Youngstown State University in Public Relations and Business Continuity. In his professional career, Dom spent 13 years in the event coordinating industry. While at RL Lipton, as a warehouse and special event coordinator, he was responsible for setting up and coordinating events in the Mahoning, Trumbull, and Columbiana County areas. He then went on to work as a tour manager and account representative for Marketing Activations Group where he traveled the country setting up events among all different states for a variety of clients. Dom currently works at The Youngstown BBQ Co. as General Manager and Event Coordinator where he specializes in management, sales, and special events.

Tim Strasik is a resident of Boardman, Ohio along with his girlfriend Ashlee and their four dogs; Parker, Winslow, Kevin and Brad. Shortly after graduating high school, Tim went on to join the military for 8 years in the United States Marine Corps infantry. Meanwhile, Tim went on to graduate college at the Youngstown State University and earned a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. During his college days, Tim worked as a bartender at a popular downtown Youngstown restaurant. He is currently employed with First Energy as a lineman working in the high-lines division.

Lily Slater joined the team in 2022 and excelled early in her short time with OTFTK. Lily currently resides in West Middlesex, PA. She graduated from Youngstown State University in December of 2022 with a degree is Business Management. While she attended YSU, she was elected treasurer of the Student Nonprofit Leadership Organization, where students organized and participated in community oriented projects around campus and the city of Youngstown. For Lily, this opened up a passion and skill for local nonprofits which led her to joining OTFTK. Lily is currently studying her Masters of Business Administration in Healthcare Management at YSU while also working full time as an Administrative Assistant to the CEO and COO at Aura Generics in Boardman, Ohio. You might recognize Lily from working at The Federal for 3 years while at YSU, which is how she met Dom and learned of OTFTK. In her free time, Lily enjoys working out, reading, and spending time with her friends, family, and boyfriend, Dylan. Lily loves giving back to her community and is excited to grow with One Time For The Kids!

OTFTK would like to welcome our newest member, Eric Carano. Eric joined our team in January of 2024. Carano is a 1998 graduate of Liberty High School and currently resides in Boardman, Ohio with his fiancée Danielle and their two beloved Boston Terriers, Keno and Winnie. Eric spent many years in the Youngstown area as everyone’s favorite bartender before moving onto a career in the Insurance Industry. In his free time, Eric enjoys spending time with family and friends, and if you can’t find him there, you can certainly locate him at his favorite place, Knoll Run Golf Course, as he is an avid golfer. Eric is excited to be apart of this organization and looks forward to making many lasting memories and friendships along the way.
